This summer, we celebrated a number of milestones at Kai Analytics.
First, Kai Analytics is six years old!
We marked our sixth birthday in August. I would like to thank everyone we have worked with over the last year and through the life of the company. We have been privileged to serve local, national and international organizations, continuing to provide research, analysis and visualization of data leveraging our latest generative language models.
Second, our Japanese subsidiary, Kai Analytics KK celebrated its first anniversary in July. You can read more about our Japanese subsidiary on JETRO, the Japan External Trade Organization. We hope our expansion will allow us to better serve our customers in the Asia-Pacific region.
Once again Kai Analytics has been listed on G2 as a leader for Best Business Intelligence (BI) Consulting Providers and in the top 10 for Best Market Research Companies. We received positive reviews for customer support, response time, communication, customer satisfaction and being attentive.
Third, Kai Analytics has recently been recognized as a Living Wage employer. Living Wage BC started in 2006 to address the high levels of working poverty in British Columbia, in spite of the wealth of the province. Many children are below the poverty line even when at least one parent is working full time year round and paying taxes. The living wage has increased drastically in recent years as the cost of food, rent and other essentials has gone up. We are proud to be recognized by Living Wage BC for meeting their regional standards for all our employees.
Fourth, we had another successful all-team retreat in Vancouver, building on our traditional event. This year was the longest one yet and we had people flying from across Canada. Our thanks to Airport Square in Vancouver for lending us their boardroom to allow us to conduct strategic planning, cross-training and process improvement. We dug deep into what makes Kai Analytics tick and shared our knowledge together. It wasn’t all just work though. We also enjoyed a wonderful lamb roast dinner at Hao’s Lamb Restaurant where staff were encouraged to bring their plus-ones, as well as bowling night at Splitsville Bowling Alley in Richmond.
Given the growth and expansion of Kai Analytics, it’s only natural we save the biggest announcement to the end. After much thought and consideration as to who we are and what we do, we have renamed the company from Kai Analytics and Survey Research Inc. to Kai Analytics International Inc. Partly, this reflects our subsidiary in Japan, expanding our reach and scope. For the other part, while we continue to conduct surveys around the world and for international bodies such as the World Health Organization and the Wikimedia Foundation, our projects have become more diverse, encompassing data analytics, web app development, and interactive dashboard development. We wanted a name that would reflect this growth and expansion, and celebrate all areas of our work.
Under our new name we will continue with top notch performance as well as our personalized service.
